Semua berawal dari tugas yang diberikan guru biologi di SMAku. Saat itu beliau memberikan tugas kepada kelompokku untuk mempresentasikan peredaran darah tentang REPTIL.
Akupun mulai mencari beberapa referensi di internet,
Reptil merupakan kelompok hewan vertebrata,melata, berdarah dingin dan diselimuti sisik. Reptil digolongkan menjadi 4 ordo yaitu

• Ordo Crocodilia (buaya, garhial, caiman, dan alligator)
• Ordo Sphenodontia (Tuatara "kadal endemic Selandia baru")
• Ordo Squamata (kadal, ular dan amphisbaenia )
• Ordo Testudinata (kura-kura, penyu, dan terrapin )

Satu, Dua, Tiga, Empat halaman web terlampaui aku menjadi tertarik pada sesosok mahluk yang dikategorikan REPTIL. Ketertarikanku pada hewan prasejarah ini semakin berlanjut terutama pada Ordo Tetusdinata,  anggota dari ordo ini adalah kura-kura, penyu dan terrapin. Rasa penasaranku semakin besar terhadap Ordo tetusdinata sehingga muncul dalam benakku untuk memelihara salah satu dari mereka.

Pencarian referensi tugas berubah menjadi pencarian binatang peliharaan. tadinya aku ingin mencoba memelihara kura-kura yang banyak dipasaran yaitu "kura-kura brazil". bersama temanku Dadika (salahsatu anggota dari kelompokku) aku memulai pencarian kura-kura brazil (RES) di toko-toko hewan di kotaku (FYI : kotaku berada dipelosok hanya ada 2 petshop hehe). sampai di toko pertama ada stok untuk kura-kura brazil tinggal satu ekor parahnya lagi kura-kura tersebut terlihat tidak sehat dan tidak terawat (seller macam apa ini WTF) akhirnya aku batalkan saja niatku membeli kura-kura tsb dan menunggu restok saja. 1-2 minggu terlewati namun stok belum juga datang T.T, kuputuskan untuk membeli online di kaskus.

Mungkin udah telat untuk mengatakan Selamat tahun baru, tapi tak apalah daripada tidak sama sekali.
